The Blue Magnolia Rust magic mushroom is a relatively new, high-potency strain that remains exclusive in the mushroom market. This rare strain was developed by isolating spores from a wild Mississippi specimen collected in 2011 by mycologists Doc and Mycotek. This potent fungus is compared to Penis Envy mushrooms, known for their high psilocybin levels among Psilocybe Cubensis varieties.
Identifying the Rare Blue Magnolia Rust
Like most magic mushrooms, they bruise blue when injured but are generally a light brown to pale gold colour. Caps can measure from 0.5 to 8 inches in diameter, and stems can reach up to 6 inches long. As the mushroom matures, the veil breaks and leaves a dark spore print on the stem.
